SS24 ANNOTATION

This collection enriched and deepened my design process and aesthetic sensibility. After a largely classic debut collection, I intended my follow-up to be directional and to push fashion forward. The collection uses Gen Z’s beloved Y2K look as its primary aesthetic influence, and then incorporates an experimentation with recently-resurging early-2010s cues. Conclusively, I developed and incorporated an edgy combination of silhouette and fabric (“grunge-glam”) into a more well-refined version of my personal design style. This annotated deck articulates the thinking behind the collection's design direction and aesthetic thesis.
